My first field trip of 2011

Today I had my first school volunteer opportunity of the New Year. I went (yes, I even rode the bus!) to the WWI Museum, here in Kansas City, with my 14 year old's Social Studies class. I have to admit, I really love history and every opportunity to learn more about it is exciting for me. The field trip was not long enough for us to see the entire museum but I will go back in the future to see more! If you ever have a reason to come to Kansas City, it is definitely worth the visit.
